Mother Not Really Feeling Dozen Rose Tico Figures

KALAMAZOO, MI — 24-year old Gerald Davies, Jr. got a jump on Mother’s Day weekend and presented his mother Alice with a bouquet of one dozen Rose Tico figures early Friday morning. Davies, who had previously gifted the same Black Series 6-Inch action figures to a now ex-girlfriend on Valentine’s Day, seems to have struck out yet again.

“She just wasn’t feeling it. I had to remind her who Rose Tico was, and even then, she just smiled and hugged me, but I could tell she was disappointed.”

Mom and motorcycle insurance saleswoman Alice Davies is clearly not amused.

Down but not out, Davies plans on raiding the local T.J. Maxx tomorrow for something better for his mother.

“What the hell was I thinking? Mom deserves better than Rose Tico… although I have no friggin’ idea how I’m going to unload those figures now.”
