Natalie Portman Completely Forgot She Was in Star Wars

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA — During a candid interview with Star Wars fansite Naboo Insider, Portman casually revealed while drinking a skinny no-foam latte that she apparently blocked out that she starred in all three Star Wars prequel films from her memory.

Portman’s husband, dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millepied, looked pretty stunned as he attempted to remind her of the prequels but to no avail. Portman went on to claim she has no idea what Star Wars even is, so how could she have appeared in three movies within the franchise.

It wasn’t until Millepied informed her that she turned down an appearance at Star Wars Celebration for the Episode I 20th anniversary panel that she finally remembered.

“Oh, STAR Wars! I thought you were saying Czar Wars. Yes I remember the countless months of that Canadian kid staring holes into me and standing in front of so many green screens. I blocked the experience from my memory. Meeting Liam Neeson was cool though.”
