JJ Abrams Reveals 2nd Word Spoken In The Force Awakens!
On the recent Star Wars episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live director JJ Abrams revealed the first word spoken during The Force Awakens. In case you missed it, the word was “This.” Not very telling at all. Keep reading for details on this sequel to the first word, and our exclusive speculation on what it could all mean.
JJ Abrams has been super secretive when it comes to Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Despite currently being on a press tour to promote the film, and making stops at The Howard Stern Show, Good Morning America, and Jimmy Fallon, he hasn’t revealed very much. Abrams seems to be in constant Mystery Box mode. Fortunately he did relent during his guest spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he finally revealed a morsel of information regarding the highly anticipated seventh installment of the Star Wars saga.

WARNING: SPOILER ALERT! WARNING: SPOILER ALERT! WARNING: SPOILER ALERT!
The word “This” will be followed by “is” in the very first spoken sentence of the new Star Wars film according to Segundo. Below is an artist’s rendering of what it will feel like when the two words come together.

The Phantom Menace
Qui-Gon Jinn: Captain.
Radiant VII captain: Yes
Attack of the Clones
Naboo Lieutenant: Senator, we’re
Revenge of the Sith
[R2-D2 bleeps]
Anakin Skywalker: Lock on
A New Hope
C-3PO: Did you
The Empire Strikes Back
Luke: Echo Three
Return of the Jedi
Shuttle captain: Command station
The Force Awakens
Rey: This is
Segundo claims there is a Navajo Code at play in the words, which he cracked to reveal Native American poetry that led him to the word “is.” We’re really not sure whether he made the whole thing up, but it seems plausible enough. Of course, we all know Star Wars is about trilogies, so the third word is as important as the first two.
So we brainstormed with Segundo and his cousin Tercero via Skype in order to come up with a few guesstimations on what the first three words will be. Without further ado:
