“Whoa!” Keanu Reeves To Star Opposite Felicity Jones in Star Wars:Rogue One
Keanu Reeves, star of films such as The Matrix, John Wick, and Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, has been cast as a character in Gareth Edwards’ Star Wars spin-off, Rogue One! Take the red pill and hit the jump.
Our leaker, who goes by the name “Morpheus,” has told us that Reeves’ character will be the antagonist of the film. He is a blue-skinned alien who is a double agent, secretly working for the Imperials but also Jones’ love interest.
Not much of the story has been given to us but it is implied that there will be a dramatic sequence when Jones finds out Reeves has been working for the Empire the entire time they had been in a relationship and that he had betrayed her and the Alliance.
One other bit of info is that Rogue One will take place AFTER The Force Awakens and does not center around a heist of Death Star plans as previously rumored.
This shouldn’t come as a big surprise as everyone already knows Keanu is an alien and can use the Force.
