Gwendoline Christie Removed From Episode VIII Cast
THIS JUST IN! Following yesterday’s story regarding Disney’s future with promoting their films in China, new reports have been flooding the FakingStarWars mail room that Captain Promo-material herself, Gwendoline Christie, has been fired from Star Wars: Episode VIII! Find out why after the jump!
The fan favorite Game of Thrones actress has been removed from the Episode VIII cast for using the phrase, “There’s a Chink in mah armor.” during a Star Wars related interview. Disney has come forward to release a statement apologizing for Christie’s comment in which Bob Iger says “Hashtag Gwendoline so white! Use that on Twitter people. She does not reflect the Disney/Lucasfilm standard of accepting all races like in the Star Wars universe so we decided to part ways with her.”
Kathleen Kennedy has come forward also, stating that veteran actress Jodie Foster will take over as Phasma and will be given substantial screen time without a helmet. Kathy spoke on the the casting change and said, “Jodi is the epitome of a strong female stiff upper lip! Actually, her lips do not move at all because of how strong she is.”

Disney had already been regretting the the decision to cast Christie after she made a statement at the Los Angeles premiere of The Force Awakens that could be considered out of bounds. When asked what Christie thought of Star Wars fans around the globe she said, “Rioght… rioght… they seem quite good except for the little shiesty mudblood f***kahs on Twittah, who keep sayin’ I look like some Buddy doull in a Stormtrooper owvit.” Jacen’s cousin with a young child has a “Buddy” doll and we believe that is what she refers to (pictured above).
How do you feel about Christie’s comment? Do you agree with Bob and Kathy’s decision to remove and replace her with Jodie Foster? Let us know in the comments and on our new message board.
-Comrade J. Red out!
