BB-8 on Secret Mission for NASA!

This past week BB-8 and his technical team visited NASA under the auspices of a promotional opportunity for Star Wars and the government organization. However, there was actually a secret purpose to this meeting! Read on after the jump to find out what actually happened!

Fans of the lovable little rotund astrodroid were delighted to see photos this past week of BB-8’s visit to NASA along with his technical team. Our undercover investigative journalist was on special assignment causing havoc at Donald Trump’s rallies, so we had to call in what we here at FakingStarWars.net like to call “The Bounty Hunter.” This guy always gets his story.

Jacen’s cousin, our normal investigator, was busy all week at Trump rallies.

The Bounty Hunter cleverly disguised himself as a NASA scientist. To bypass the high-level security at the center, he was able to find a chalupaquesorito gordito wrapper in the space nerd’s curbside trash.

Who knew you could make a thumb print from fast food transfats?

Using scotch tape, he took an impression of the lead scientist’s thumb print, and then used some of the lard and cheese left on the wrapper to create a mold of the print which he then slipped on his thumb to surreptitiously gain access to the “off limits” area of the base.

Where’s Boba? Our bounty hunter slid right under their noses.

Once inside, The Bounty Hunter installed some GoPro cameras to film the secret meeting between NASA scientists and the BB-8 development team. We’ve been combing over these videos for days now, and brought in specialist lip-readers to decode what was being discussed.

It appears the BB-8 team has been tasked by NASA with a special mission.  Given the political climate in the world today, NASA has decided to pull off a con much like the famed moon landing fakery they pulled off in the 60’s under direction of Stanley Kubrick (for more on that exposé, see this video). This time NASA plans to stage a massive worldwide “alien infiltration” stunt, to make it look like humans have finally made first contact.

How does BB-8 fit into this plan you might ask?  Well, the idea hinges on the teams ability to crack the security in all the BB-8 Sphero© toys around the world.  Using the cell phone towers arrays, NASA will pilot these toys at will, and plans to guide them all to Cape Canaveral, where millions of these toys will then spell out the words “We are landing on your planet. Listen to the droids.  Also, fund NASA a lot”.

NASA has also been forced to sell advertising space on its newest line of shuttles. FSW was among the first sponsors to buy a placement!

It would appear that with budget cuts and the global economic downturn, desperate times call for desperate measures. Will this stunt pay off for NASA?  It seems bold to be sure, but crazier “bold” things have seen the light of day in the Star Wars universe before.

What’s more, we’ve been informed that this stunt will coincide with the release of the first Episode VIII trailer, later next month!

As you can see, FakingStarWars will stop at nothing to bring you the top investigative stories!  Check back here soon to get updates on these developments or head over to Faking Fandom Forums to discuss this in a committee!  Oh wait, it is NOT a committee, it’s a fan forum!
