Pablo Hidalgo: Mike Zeroh is A Lucasfilm Creation

After many months of speculation on where Star Wars YouTuber Mike Zeroh gets all his “insider” information, the cat is finally out of the bag. Face of Lucasfilm Story Group, Pablo Hidalgo has revealed via Twitter that Zeroh is a product of said story group and also serves as his personal errand boy. More details after the jump.

During one of Hidalgo’s infamous satirical Twitter rants, this time about nerdy clickbait headlines and fake Star Wars news, he let slip that Mike Zeroh is actually the low man on the metaphorical totem pole within the Lucasfilm Story Group. Not only does he become the scapegoat for publishing dozens of ridiculous, sometimes contradictory leaks on the Mike Zeroh YouTube channel, Zeroh also goes on coffee runs for the group.

Pablo’s Tweet regarding Zeroh has, of course, been deleted but one of Jacen’s cousins was able to snag a screenshot. Don’t worry we already chastised him for using the “light” Twitter theme.

Zeroh, which is in fact just an internet handle assigned to him by Hidalgo as his real name is Mark Zabrowski, has to publish several videos a day spreading misinformation about whatever the next Star Wars film is at the time of posting. Zeroh is even known to recycle scripts for past videos and just swap out the film title, making it easier to publish so many videos a day.

However, the biggest twist to this story is actually what Zeroh spits out in his YouTube videos is created via algorithm. Lucasfilm Story Group calls it the Zeroh-Tron. The Zeroh-Tron searches through speculative Tweets , messageboard threads, Facebook posts, and Reddit rants, then jumbles up the info before building a cohesive script for on-screen personality to speak to the masses.

It’s a surprise to be sure that Lucasfilm is behind the infamous Zeroh because even The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson was not in on the truth.

“It’s a welcome surprise to know that Zeroh is actually a product of Lucasfilm. Now when saying ‘zeroh’d’ when someone messes up on the set of my next Star Wars movie that is totally actually happening despite what Pablo’s algorithm says.”

Rian Johnson on Mike Zeroh and his totally original Star Wars trilogy that may or may not be happening.

We also reached out to Mark Zabrowski, but his mother said he was in the basement recording a new Star Wars news video and unable to comment.
